Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: January 1, 2026 · Forteca Contracting (A Forteca Estate Company)
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing our website, submitting an inquiry, scheduling an estimate, or entering into a construction agreement with Forteca Contracting ("Company," "we," "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and all applicable Commonwealth of Pennsylvania laws and licensing regulations.
2. Estimates, Scope of Work & Fixed-Price Proposals
Preliminary cost assessments provided online or by telephone represent preliminary estimates based on client-provided details. Binding proposals are issued exclusively following an on-site property inspection, architectural evaluation, and execution of a formal written Home Improvement Contract outlining detailed milestones, material specifications, and fixed-price scope.
3. Licensing, Permits, and Compliance
Forteca Contracting maintains current Pennsylvania contractor registration, comprehensive commercial general liability insurance, and worker's compensation coverage. When specified in your written agreement, Forteca will assist in securing municipal building permits, HOA architectural approvals, and mandatory inspections required for lawful project completion.
4. 10-Year Workmanship Warranty
Qualifying full-scale renovations and structural builds completed by Forteca Contracting include a ten-year limited workmanship warranty against defects in installation and structural craftsmanship. Specific manufacturer warranties (e.g., roofing shingles, hot tub mechanicals, composite decking, plumbing fixtures) pass directly to the property owner according to manufacturer terms.
5. Change Orders & Adjustments
Any alterations to project scope, material substitutions, or unforeseen site conditions discovered during demolition/framing require a written Change Order signed by both the client and project manager prior to commencement of additional work.
6. SMS & Digital Communications
Clients consenting to telephone or SMS communications agree that electronic notices satisfy legal communication criteria. You may discontinue SMS notifications at any time by replying STOP.
7. Governing Law
These terms and all contracting agreements are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict of law principles.
